These terms are deliberately short. By using Lite Mind you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What this is

Lite Mind is a hobby project that runs a language model on your phone. It is built and maintained by one person in their own time, not by a company, and it is offered free of charge.

2. What you can do with it

Use it for anything you like: everyday questions, learning, writing, curiosity. Download models, keep or delete your conversations, uninstall whenever you want. It runs on your device and the data is yours.

The app's source is published under the AGPL-3.0 licence, which sets out what you may do with the code itself. The models the app downloads carry their own licences, Apache 2.0 for Qwen3.5 and the LFM Open License v1.0 for LFM2.5. Those terms come from their publishers rather than from me.

3. A reality check on the answers

These are small models running on a phone. They can be confidently wrong, invent facts and misunderstand you. Please do not rely on Lite Mind for medical, legal, financial or other consequential decisions, and check anything that matters against a real source.

4. Provided as is

The app comes with no warranty of any kind. I cannot promise it is free of bugs, that a model download will always succeed, or that an update will never break something temporarily. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from using it, including anything you do on the strength of an answer it gave you.

5. Your content is yours

Your conversations and anything you create with the app belong to you. I make no claim to them, and since nothing is transmitted off your device, I could not collect them even if I wanted to. The privacy policy has the detail.

6. Your side of it

Use the app lawfully. Do not use it to produce material that is illegal where you live, and do not pass its output off as professional advice to other people.

7. Changes and availability

Being a hobby project, Lite Mind may change, pause or stop being updated. If these terms change the date at the top of this page will change with them. Copies you have already installed will keep working, since they run on your phone.
